Merlo comes from a proven, long-lived line that, as a buyer, I would always prioritize over other lines. Several generations of his ancestors reached an advanced age and hold numerous show successes and champion titles – providing a solid foundation for health, longevity, and reliability.

However, Merlo has not only proven himself in the show ring. He combines a strong champion lineage with genuine sporting ability. At two years of age, he passed the BH/VT, and at three years old he competed in his first Obedience trial, achieving an Excellent rating and 1st place.

He possesses a true winner’s mentality: endurance, willingness to work, strong nerves, and a stable temperament. He is not a dog that collapses under pressure – noise or environmental stimuli do not unsettle him.

Health-wise, Merlo is fully screened and genetically clear of all tested diseases:
